Using the benefits of modern veterinary medicine, we'll care for your four-legged family members. We pride ourselves in providing quality care throughout all the stages of your pet's life. Join us in ensuring they'll always be engaged in and enjoying life.

Young

Congratulations on your new family member! We will help you get off to the right start.

Adult

A healthy weight, good oral care and preventative treatments keep your pet in prime condition.

Senior

Even though your pet may be slowing down, there is no reason the older years can't be some of the best.

What we provide

We offer a full range of services to help keep your pets happy and healthy.

Preventative care is the first course of action in keeping your pet healthy. Because pets age much faster than we do, and a change in their health can occur in just a few months, we recommend semi-annual exams. We hope that these exams find your pet fit and healthy, but early detection is the best way to a fast recovery.

During the visit, your pet will receive a thorough exam. Keeping pets healthy requires teamwork.  You know your pet better than anyone. We'll take the time to listen to you—the owner—in order to get a full history. This helps us make individual recommendations based on your pet’s lifestyle.

Recommendations may include heartworm prevention, flea and tick control, vaccinations, dental care, weight management or blood testing.

Have a new addition in the family? We'd be honored to be your pet's first veterinarian. After all, the best health care starts here with preventative medicine. First visits include time to answer questions or address any concerns you may have. This is also a great time to develop your pet's individualized vaccination schedule.

Every puppy and kitten goes home with a kit including information on development, training and healthcare recommendations. All new puppies go home with Merial's puppy kit, including a free month of Heartgard and Frontline. Our kittens go home with Royal Canin's kitten kit.

When you know something is wrong with your pet, or maybe just not quite right, we will work with you to develop a plan to address the problem. Let us help your pet live the happiest, healthiest life possible.

Kathryn M. Otto, DVM

Dr. Otto grew up on a family dairy farm in eastern Wisconsin. Surrounded by animals, she always wanted to be a veterinarian. Even at a young age, she confidently stated that she was going to be a veterinarian. Since there were essentially no female veterinarians at that time, this career goal was usually met with considerable skepticism. → Read more

David Lindquist, DVM

Medicine has always interested Dr. Lindquist. He finds the complex biological interactions and the body's healing ability to be fascinating. Initially, he planned to become a human medical doctor but discovered he did not like the hospital atmosphere. He really missed working with animals. Therefore, he chose veterinary medicine. → Read more

Our technicians

The Bobtown technicians are more than just welcoming faces and voices. All our technicians are certified, licensed and complete regular continuing education. We try to keep the same technician with your pet from admission to discharge. This keeps your pet comfortable and us more knowledgeable about our patients. → Read more
