Theresa’s pastimes include camping and fishing with her family, boating, volleyball, horseback riding and spending time with family and friends.
Tortuga (Tortu) and Cheripaxa (Cheri)
These guys are our resident greeter turtles. Dr. Lindquist acquired them in 1994 after a WEZAM(Wild, Exotic, and Zoo Animal Medicine) conference that the UW-Madison hosted. They are believed to be Melanistic Sliders. Tortu is the friendly one and would gladly follow you around for a walk. Cheri is a bit shy but warms up to you pretty quickly!
