The Colors of a Healthy Mouth

When looking in a healthy mouth what colors do I see?

I see pink and white looking back at me.

Pink is for healthy gums.

White is for bright shining clean teeth.

When looking in a diseased mouth what colors do I see?

Red, tan, brown, black and green jumping out at me.

Tan is for bacteria making up the plaque.

Brown is for tartar adhered to teeth.

Red is for inflamed and bleeding gums.

Black is for the dead pulp cavity of a broken tooth.

Green is for pus from that abscess.
